The backbone of Elm Creek Animal Hospital is the Animal Care Team. They treat and care for the animals, aid and assist the veterinarians, and help you make appointments. They work closely with you to answer questions, inform on treatments, and give direction on the healing process.

Most of our Veterinary Technicians are Certified and have recieved a degree from an accredited Veterinary Technician school.

When we total our entire Animal Care Team's pets, they own 37 dogs, 27 cats, 6 birds, 3 rabbits, 26 fish,  2 horses, and 1 guinea pig!

Security Cats Boots & Andi

Boots was hired May 25, 2004.  His official title is Security Cat Extraordinaire.  ‘Boots’ resume was very impressive and included degrees from F.S.U. (Feline Security University) in hugs, bird watching, patrolling hallways, and chair warming.  His previous employer was forced to lay ‘Boots’ off due to financial difficulties.  Fortunately for us, Dr. Reierson’s connections with the security cat union, informed us of this exceptional feline.  Boots has now being working the halls here at Elm Creek Animal Hospital for over 3 years now and has done an wonderful job thus far. He is more then happy to welcome the new addition to the hospital, Andi. He has already shown her the ropes as far as teaching her how to get as much attention as possible, patrolling the hallways, and telling her humans when she is hungry.

Andi was surrendered to us because of a severe skin disease on August 9, 2006. After 2 months of nursing her back to health, the staff here became quite attached to her and she then became a permanent fixture in the halls here.
Andi now fills the position as Drill Sergeant here at Elm Creek Animal Hospital. She keeps us all in line with her meows and screams as she marches down the halls. Andi makes several laps around the clinic each day to help her slim down as well as a restricted diet. Andi enjoys taking long naps on the couch and dinners with Boots by night light. Andi has also filled a position in Boots’ heart, they can often be found taking naps together on the couch or in the Doctors office.
